Amanda James (Performer) hails from the Lone Star state and the outskirts of Illinois. She started performing at a young age and, although she occasionally has dalliances with other mediums, the stage is her true love.  She has performed in several remarkable productions at the Eclectic, including Timeshare, Wombat Man, and Spoon River: The Cemetery on the Hill.  Skilled at comedy, drama, sketch comedy, and improv, some of her favorite roles are Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd), Queen (Once Upon a Mattress), and Miss Hannigan (Annie). Amanda is a classically trained singer; performing and traveling with the QC Opera Company is one of her favorite memories.
